SIDOS has chosen to engage in actively reducing incidents of suicide through becoming a committee member of the Security Consortium Prevention of Suicide and will be leading on the objective of reducing opportunities.

Incidents of terrorism are thankfully rare, unfortunately, crime and antisocial behaviour occur with far more frequency. SIDOS will provide an independent physical security review of the environment and measures in place where the incident took place. The service will complete a comprehensive site analysis with a view to identify the vulnerability and residual risk to victims which may support liability claims.
With more companies, sports venues and public space management receiving advice and recommendations relating to security SIDOS offer a review service providing a pragmatic and proportionate opinion of the physical security measures being proposed by services or consultancies. The location will be considered from a Threat Vulnerability and Risk perspective

The Register of Chartered Security Professionals (CSyP) was established under a Royal Charter granted to the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals in the UK and launched in 2011. Registrants use CSyP as a post nominal. Being admitted to the Register and becoming a CSyP is a means of being recognised and continuing to represent the highest standards and ongoing proficiency. It is the gold standard of competence in security practice.
CSyPs have to comply with a Code of Conduct, a Professional Disciplinary Code, and also complete Continuous Professional Development each year.
The Register of Chartered Security Professionals is recognised across the UK, including by the Association of Security Consultants (ASC), the International Professional Security Association (IPSA), The Security Industry Authority (SIA) and CPNI.
